Mission Control Systems
VEGA's Mission Control Systems capability develops, maintains
and supports systems for the monitoring and control of satellites
and ground stations.
For nearly 30 years, VEGA's Mission Control Systems has provided
support for over 50 missions including Earth Observation, Science,
Telecoms and Military space. We are currently responsible for
the Mission Control System for the DLR SATCOMBw programme.
VEGA provides services at all stages of the control systems
lifecycle, including:
- Studies into future technology issues
- Supporting the definition of the system requirements
specification
- Designing and implementing the system prior to launch
- Maintaining and supporting the system during the mission
VEGA is a leading supplier of SCOS-2000 based Spacecraft Control
Systems and is responsible for supporting all ESA’s ground systems
infrastructure software, including SCOS-2000.
