Near Space Security (NSS) 2010
24-25 March 2010, Amsterdam, The Netherlands
The Near Space Security Conference covers
the safety of spacecraft in near Earth Space. Today, concern
is growing worldwide regarding the continued viability of the Space
domain. The result of a history of unrestrained launch and a
corresponding growth in the hazards to Space assets has been in the
headlines across the globe. How are we, as a community, going to
solve these problems in order to ensure a cost-effective access to
Space for our children?
Near Space Security 2010 focused
on satellites and satellite-based services. It covered
the safety of spacecraft in near Earth Space, with topics
including debris, Space weather, spacecraft protection, debris
abatement, and mitigation methods. VEGA Business
Development Manager, Germany, Zeina Mounzer, attended this event.
